What happens to the articles that get deleted? I once put a construction template on the Link (Legend of Zelda) article a while ago and I didn't check back so it was mistakenly deleted. I had a backup of it on my userspace so I was able to restore it, but all the history from the old article is gone. Is there anyway to get it back?--Dorkadorkreece (talk) 02:20, May 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Deleted revisions are collated and donated to underprivileged wikis when they bring the collection bag round.
- Or, if you prefer: admins have access to deleted revisions of articles. They're all still somewhere in the deepest depths of the Uncyclomopedia database, it's just the general public don't have access to them. It's a lot like a pub lock-in, except without beer and a bunch of web geeks controlling what they think you want to see. Wait, whuh? -- Hindleyite Converse 11:29, May 4, 2012 (UTC)
- The Admins gather up the deleted pages, put them in a bucket and gamble on which one would win in a fight. If they fought. Which they don't. They pretty much just sit there. Like a bucket of dead fish, really. Except this bucket smells awful. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 14:57, May 4, 2012 (UTC)
- To answer your question, yes, there is a way to get it back. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 15:16, May 4, 2012 (UTC)
