Well, that's a good question, and I think it really depends on what you're using for fill. With loose fiber or down, you can pretty much just blow the stuff in with an air-compressor and let gravity do the rest. But with foam padding, you'll have to staple the material to the item you're trying to re-upholster, and then lay the fabric over top of it, being careful not to cause any binding - especially where there's going to be contact. Of course, a lot of people are getting into alternative fill materials now, such as semi-solid gel, breadcrumbs with wild berries, and even inflatables, but we're a little more traditional than that here on Uncyclopedia.  c • > • cunwapquc? 03:50, 18 August 2006 (UTC) WAIT A MINUTE, YOU WEREN"T LOOKING FOR THIS, WERE YOU?

I think you're definitely well on your way! Although certain — shall we say — pessimistic individuals here might (under the circumstances) suggest that your first effort was somewhat less than completely successful. Specifically, the idea behind my linking the discussion entry above to the Help:HowTo page was not, or at least not specifically, intended to mean that you should overwrite the Help:HowTo page with your otherwise-laudable article on Länder - Matt Gay, who, as we all know, is a highly notable personage who should clearly be covered in any self-respecting encyclopedia, internet-based or otherwise. Nevertheless, I'm disappointed in your article's almost total lack of content related to foam padding or other fill materials. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you might just possibly have some sort of mysterious "hidden agenda" here, one that may prove harmful to your chances of attaining "administrator" status here in any less than two to three weeks.  c • > • cunwapquc? 06:01, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

I can't believe you could treat a n00b like this. Honestly. How could you not mention the new Dacron system for keeping shape and proportion in stuffing and filling? We need to do better then this. FreeMorpheme 09:19, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Three Days After That

Sorry, FM, I sorta dozed off there! I understand your concern, but my reasons for not mentioning these newer stuffing technologies was, of course, to protect Uncyclopedia from the risk of legal action should Princess n00b suffer a serious mishap — which, judging by several recent liability cases brought against the manufacturers, could potentially include suffocation, asphyxiation, decapitation, misinterpretation, ruination, frequency attenuation, conversation, verification, and urination. (And not necessarily in that order.) If Princess n00b manages to stick around long enough to make a useful contribution or two in terms of stuffing, filling, or re-upholstery in general, then fine - but until that happens, I think we have to assume this is yet another wind-up attempt by the folks at Encyclopaedia Daemonica. An apology

I'd just like to take this opportunity to apologize to the Uncyclopedia community, and perhaps to User:Princess N00b herself, for not following up on this situation until now. As we all know, it was only a matter of hours after my last posting to this thread that Princess N00b posted the original version of Evil Duck — an article that might have been destined to be enshrined in the annals of Uncyclopedia Evil Duck lore and legend for all time, or else whenever the NRV period expires (whichever comes first). Had I simply been paying more attention, I could perhaps have prevented the now-inevitable loss of Evil Duck, and perhaps even saved the Satanic Duck Worshiping community (as well as the Satanic Monkey Worshiping Community) a great deal of shame and embarrassment. Hopefully the next time something like this happens, I'll be in a better position to deal with it, instead of being pinned-down in one of those interminable 4-day group-sex marathons with members of the Swedish Women's Ski Team.  c • > • cunwapquc?  c • > • cun vfh ns pix q todd yap 19:17, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
