I need help on linking images in my sig to other pages of mine. I've seen this in admin's sigs but viewing their source only confused me. What do I do? • • • Necropaxx (T) {~} 19:03, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't have any idea myself, I've had a brief play with your sig code trying to use what I've seen in say, Savethemooses's sig but I couldn't get it to work either. Not if I get here first!

You normally use an external link, and set an image as the link text. For example, [http://webite.domain.com http://linkdirectlytoimagefile.jpg], the first part is the link, the second part (after the space) is the link to the image file. You can't resize the image though, so it has to be the right size already.

But do it the non-imagemap way, as the imagemap way adds a little white "i" in a blue circle to the displayed pic (see the pics on the right side of my userpage, which is probably not what you want. I've no idea what that would attract.

You can switch off the link to the image description page by adding desc none as a parameter, like this. (It just occurred to me that you may have wanted the description links on your userpage... revert if that's the case!) SpangSock! 05:38, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
