I recently made an article titled Adam Jones (I'm new to the whole editing/creating thing) could someone help fix up (or show me) the contents section and the subheadings??? If you're too lazy to do it... or just want me to do it on my own, could you at least give me some guidlines???

thanks in advance. :)

Headers are simple enough

One equal sign

One equal sign

Two equal signs

Two equal signs

Three equal signs

One equal sign

We don't generally use the "one equal sign" header, as they're garishly big.
To move the table of contents simply add __TOC__ where you want it to go. Like so
If you don't want a table of contents at all, just add __NOTOC__ somewhere on the page (the top is good, so you can easily find it again if you change your mind.
As for fixing/helping with the page, I can't as I have no idea who he is. Or, rather, I could help, but I'd just mess up the page as, again, I have no idea who he is. I hope I answered whatever questions you had. I'm a bit murky on the past. Like Memento, but I've run out of places to tattoo. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:22, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

thanks

I thought that you had to keep adding equal signs to each heading

e.g.

Heading 1

subheading 1

subheading 2

But they all just started getting smaller.

Thanks for that... I guess I take the HowTo too literally. :S

No biggie. If only all questions proved this easy to answer in my own rambling, off-kilter manner. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 07:11, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
How do you place the table of contents on the right? I'm sure I've done it before, but can't remember it. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  20:00, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
If a pic is on the left and it's followed by the TOC command, the TOC should appear on the right. I generally find the TOC to be an annoyance and, therefore, haven't bothered to figure out all that much about it. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:11, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
