Dedicated to SysRq - As somewhat of an apology --Sir DJ ~ Irreverent OZ! Noobaward.jpg Wotm.jpg Unbooks mousepad.PNG GUN.png 09:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

One year later exactly and I'm just now noticing this. Apology accepted? (I have no idea what you're talking about.) Sir SysRq (talk) 01:42, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Humour: 8 Oh, I like this. It may not be laugh out loud funny, but it is good satire, and we can never have too much of that. This is well done, well thought out, and quite satisfying. I'm guessing one or two references may go a little over my head, as I suspect a few lines here are direct references to current campaign leaflets/slogans/whatever that I'm completely unaware of over here in the UK. However, I think the fact that I still enjoyed it so much says a lot about the universal nature of such leaflets, and also the work you've done to give this plenty of scope.

The only thing I have to say is that greedily, I'd like a little more. Specifically, another couple of hard questions. For instance, what does campaign leaflet think about email campaigning, with e fliers becoming more prevalent, is campaign leaflet in danger of becoming out of touch with the modern world? You mention there's more to come, so I won't suggest more here - what you've done so far leads me to believe you know exactly where you're going with this, but if you do want more suggestions, give me a shout.

Concept: 9 Yes, very good. A clever idea and well worked on. I don't really have much else to say here.
Prose and formatting: 8 Formatted and laid out really well. Obviously with an article like this that is key, and you've done a good job - it looks spankingly good. One or two things to point out though:
  1. "Maybe its the silent g, maybe its the large pay check I will receive in the mail, or maybe its the tireless effort that Campaign Leaflet has done behind the scenes" all the "its" need apostrophes in.
  2. You haven't put in a references section at the bottom, so you have a reference link that goes nowhere.

So, that's two things then.

Images: 9.5 I am impressed by the work that has gone into producing this, in particular the images. They're all really well done and add a lot to the article. In fact, they're integral to it - it wouldn't feel the same without them. They are all appropriate, well-used and well captioned. The only things stopping you getting a 10 here are my pathological aversion to dishing out 10s, the fact that maybe one more pic at the bottom is required to make it fit nicely (as you've already acknowledged above), and the fact that the leaflet needs desaturating a bit on the bin pic - it stands out too much. However, this really is very well done.
Miscellaneous: 8.6 Averaged.
Final Score: 43.1 Really good, and well done. I know you say it's not done yet, but the state it's in already impresses me, so I really look forward to seeing what you end up with. A really good bit of work DJI, nice one - I wouldn't have been surprised to see this turn up on VFH in its current state, so I quite fancy its chances with a bit more work!
