I thought this page was way funnier back when it was Egypt... I just find Ægyptüs much harder to read.

Of course it is hard to read: It's Latin. It would be easier to say the Egyptian word for Egypt (although we are less certain how to pronounce it). Much is known about Latin pronunciation through metric analysis and comments by grammarians, but scant little is known about Egyptian pronunciation other than the obscure conclusions of comparative linguistics and the remains of Coptic. Over the internet these days, the Egyptian word for Egypt has the chamelion-like quality to morph from Kemet to Kamit to Kmt. It's like Hebrew: there are no vowels. And don't ask about the two dots thingy. It's not an umlaut: it was pronounced just like the u in "put", not like the "y" in Aegyptüs. Why they are there I have no clue. It is not an umlaut, or an accent, or a diarrhea or an apex. And by the way don't be deceived by appearances: Aegyptus is feminine, just like Isis. -UnRa 15 April 2008

Cats[edit]

I don't think they mentioned cats!

Why should a theater piece be mentioned? But actually, I wanted to ask why there's no mention of the devolution here?

A Camel??[edit]

I hate to pee in your Kool-Aid, but camels have 2 humps. One hump is a "Bactrian camel" aka a dromedary. 24.244.216.250 20:29, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

It's shocking...[edit]

...how many people can't recognize a bit of practical satire for what it is. Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]

Why don't connect it to Yu-Gi-Oh! like in the Hebrew Uncylopedia article? 87.70.47.165 04:00, August 6, 2011 (UTC)

I'm new[edit]

This is an outrage! That notion about the Ægyptiüsians being horrible to all persons smaller than them and sucking the nuts off of all those bigger is a grossly inacurate synthetic steriotype! They do crave jungle law over insufferable beurocracy and they do have a comparatively short temper for irritation and deviance, and a comparatively long temper for malcoordinated muscel. As for the sweet smillyness in the face of such disasserting physical challenge to which others might react, this is infact a subtle yet aggressive practice of cruely pittying any such lesser creatures of inferior intelligence. What is 'a comparatively long temper for malcoordinated muscel'? Because that is actually quite funny, even though I am not sure what you are referring to. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:16, January 9, 2013 (UTC)
If you have better ideas that are funny, jump in (preferably after registering a user name). But remember that the goal here is to be funny, not especially to be accurate or to defend the reputation of Egypt. There are plenty "outrages" here, mostly written about places by their own outraged citizens. Cheers. Spıke Ѧ 01:03 11-Jan-13
