Jokes[edit]

I like the tone of the prose and how it's pertinant to the old Folgers commercials. Some more jokes would be nice; I liked the part about women, that was very clever. Is it just me or does the last sentence seem relatively incongruent with the tonality of the speaker/writer? Perhaps if those kind of statements appeared more in the body. --AmericanBastard 02:45, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

The entire article, when paired with the audio, is a joke in itself. It goes farther than Folgers; its a spoof on advertising which uses old-western sentimentality as a point of purchase.
The last sentence is as such because its not in the tonality of the speaker; thats what makes it funny. --THINKER 03:54, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Audio[edit]

The audio is really what makes this article funny so I was wondering how do you get an audio file on wikipedia I know that's a bit noobish but I would still appreciate it if someone gave me intructions on how to get my audio file and what type of audio file onto uncyclopedia thank you.--Dr. Fenwick 22:33, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

I believe it can be .mp3 or .wav (mp3 is preferred due to their decreased size). All you have to do is upload it the same way you upload an image:
 1. Click Upload File under the toolbox heading on the lower left of your screen.
 2. Browse for the file.
 3. Upload.
 4. To add your new audio to an article, use this code:

{{Listen|filename=[File Name Here]|title= [Title Here]|description=[Description There. No. I Meant Here]}}

Easy...like the rich, bold taste of Folgers. :) --THINKER 22:40, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
