If anyone looks at this, I was wondering if they think I should remove the pic of the clay tablet? I mean, I think it might be just one too many pics... thanks in advance for any help!Robertodole 07:03, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Keep the clay tablet, but lose the Einstein picture and the stuff about Einstein in the text. It doesn't fit with the rest of the article at all. User:Solar penguin/sig 07:17, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Awww, but if I take out Einstein, then I take out an entire Theory as to the meaning of the song... Should I maybe substitute Chuck Norris or Jesus, or do you think I should just completely remove Einstein?
Do you think that looks better, or do you still say that Einstein is superfluous? Robertodole 18:48, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

How do you put the article in multiple categories? Robertodole 17:00, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

From Pee Review[edit]

This is about that old song "Bluetail Fly" that most people only know a few of the words from (those words being "Jimmy crack' corn, and I don't care)." Theres a link to the wikipedia article on it, but I think it was only really sang in the USA, unless you count Bugs Bunny singing it or when Bender sings it when he's magnetized on Futurama. Anyway, I have writer's block on this topic now, so I don't know where to go from here. Any comments/tips/criticism will be helpful! Robertodole 09:49, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 5 Ow. More confusing and painful than funny.
Concept: 5 Well, it's a concept, we can agree on that. As an analysis of a folk song it is less than convincing.
Prose and formatting: 4 Not sure about this. See endnotes.
Images: 5 Mediocre images. The Einstein one is widely used.
Miscellaneous: 5 This article leaves me a bit clammy, personally.
Final Score: 24

Endnotes: Is the style meant to be borderline-literate? The passage "This theory is often regarded in esteems as high as someone viewing their own bloody diarrhea..." is really quite ungrammatical. If this is intentional it needs to be more obviously satirical; if not, it just needs to be corrected.

"Obviously, nobody cares about Jimmy S-Chickenshack, who broke the sound barrier 20 years before this hymn was written, since Einstein broke the light barrier in 424,242,424,242,424,242,424,242,424,242,424,242,424,242 BC, just 42 years after Jesus's Bar Mitzvah. "

OK, the author can type lots and lots of alternating 2's, 4's, and commas...but, frankly, I don't care. And the whole Einstein/Jesus thing comes across to me as just name-dropping randomness. Make some sense, please.

Sorry if I seem harsh. I seem to have several pounds of prickle-burrs in my underwear, and I don't know how they got there. I suspect my cat, Mr. Bootsie, has been having a little joke on me again. Last time he was in this mood he put a live mouse in my mouth while I was asleep, and I nearly choked to death. And I had to keep putting iodine on the bites, most of which were on my tongue. I think I will have to take Mr. Bootsie for a little ride. I think I will do that right now. Please take these comments as a bad-cat-inspired rant if you wish. ----OEJ 17:49, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

I've tried to fix what you mentioned, take another look if you want. If you do, then I should get a better grade (barring another cat-induced rant ^_^) Robertodole 14:32, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
