Sophia is gone!

There's no mention of Sophia of the main page anymore! You're all asking to be struck by lightning or something, I tell you!--Anon32 20:37, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Creation

Are you allowed to create any random article?

We prefer funny ones, if possible. If you're not sure, go ahead and create it, and we'll destroy your ego with a "No Redeeming Value" if we don't funny... or if you've broken some un-written rule. Even then, if you just ask an administrator about it, they'll usually let you fix it.--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 19:15, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Requesting Serious Help. In my pants.

Also on the article MapleStory.

Maplestory was once a MMORPG, but now I'm "uncycling" it to be a sort of drug. I see some serious potential in this article, with a bit of work. After this, I'm be working on gamefaqs.

Welcome to Uncyclopedia

I enthusiastically second the motion. I've always been frustrated by the lack of joke in the second part, and that would work pretty darn well. --Lenoxus 17:27, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Random?

WHY do I get a different page every time I hit the Random button? I mean, there is nothing random about that .. is there? --Dojobo 14:54, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

So, I responded on Dojobo's talk page, but there doesn't seem to be anything there or at his main page. Anyone know whether s/he/it still exists here? --Lenoxus 17:33, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Norwegian version moved

Hi! The Norwegian version has moved from http://ikkepedia.wikia.com/wiki/Hovedside to a new server, at http://www.ikkepedia.net/ ! Could the link under "Uncyclopedia languages" be updated? Thanks! Damsleth 07:50, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

This would affect a few items, some of which need to be changed on every wiki in the project:

AFAIK, the interwiki table here is months out of date and doesn't list zh: no: sv: ar: da: zh-tw: pt: hu: ja: at all (as well as being incorrect for de:). I've raised the issue bug:324 and so far have gotten nowhere. The rest appear to be correct. --Carlb 04:55, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Content-free? Hardly.

With over 18,000 articles now, I'd say that's a stretch. What about fact-free? ~ T. (talk) 13:59, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

It's just a parody of Wikipedia's welcome message, it doesn't matter if we're not actually content-free. Just another misinformation on uncyclopedia :p --Dandin1 20:36, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Underlined links suck!

I use IE and for some reason, all the links on Uncyclopedia are underlined when they haven't been in the past. Wikipedia links in IE aren't underlined and Uncyclopedia links on Firefox aren't underlined either. Is there any way to fix this?

Special:Preferences in [Misc]: Underline links: [Never ] --Splaka 04:52, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Rhinocerous

Now before you understand this you will have to look on gasp wikipedia for the Rhinocerous Party of Canada which was truly uncyclopedian so I think it may be funny to create an article on Uncyclopedia which gives them completely sensible platforms remember you will have to know what they were to get this so please tell me if you think it is stupid. Jamhaw 20:26, 24 May 2006 (UTC)jamhaw

We have fr:Parti Rhinocéros but it does little more than list their actual platform. Useful mostly as a link target from other pages attacking Martin, Harper and company. --Carlb 05:06, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

HUncyclopedia

We started an Hungarian unciklopédia. please update interwikis: hu:Kezdőlap [2]. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.98.54.71 (talk • contribs) May 26

Out of our hands, unfortunately; already reported as bug:324 but no response so far. Interwiki table on en:Uncyclopedia is running two to three months out of date, so zh: and everything added after it (ie. about half the project, not just unciklo.pedia.ws) is missing.

Current status (did we forget Poland?) for interlanguage links to other Uncyclopedias from this server is:

working en: es: fr: he: pl: ru: inbound-only ca: el: fi: it: la:

Seriously...

Shouldn't there be a truly serious disclaimer or something like that. I know, I know, you would have to be a complete idiot to believe that this stuff is real, but it's just not right to not put up a disclaimer on a site like this. Besides, if Arnold Schwarzenegger, for example, sees his article, Uncyclopedia (as well as Wikia) will be in (ahem) trouble.

Wrong. Arnold Schawarzenface cant do shit to the uncyclopedia, neither can anyone else, so i dont see any need for a disclaimer.

What has happen?

This Wikipedia seem not so good no more. it use to be about truth, but now seem to be full of junk. what happen? why no good anymore more? please forgive my english sir, but I am worry about wikipedia losing it, how you say, prestige. please return to way use to be.

Also, I think it should be saved until Old English is featured (might be a looooong time). ~ Ghelæ talkcontribs 18:50, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

No offense, but that article was pretty dumb. I'm not sure why it was chosen for the main page. Regarding the Wikipedia look....

A question. You guys have nailed the wikipedia 'look' and functionality perfectly. For a project I'm doing, I was wondering if there was some sort of wiki-script you had on tap that I could easily rip-off to create the same effect for a project I'm doing. If not, where would you advise that I look?
