"The British Navy" exists just like "The American Navy", dum dum. "The Royal Navy" is the correct title, so this article should be preserved.

Is anyone there?

No. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
Well, actually, Yes. There is anyone here. --James, for it is he (talk) 19:16, September 1, 2015 (UTC)

Spellings[edit]

Please use British English spellings when writing the titles of organizations etc. Despite the degree of illiteracy witch exists in the Royal Navy, it is British after all. Ithangyew. --James, for it is he (talk) 19:16, September 1, 2015 (UTC)

This article needs to be moved to Royal Navy in line with Wikipedia's system of naming articles without the article in front. SirScottPat VFH NotM WotM WotY UotM 19:21, September 1, 2015 (UTC)
Done. SirScottPat VFH NotM WotM WotY UotM 19:22, September 1, 2015 (UTC)
In fact, in an article Royal Navy, use British English throughout. It will unnecessarily baffle a reader on his way to getting amused to find American grammar or spelling in the article. Spıke 🎙️00:51 2-Sep-15
