A word from our sponsor, SysRq[edit]

Hello, friends!

Before you begin bashing the fuck out of this page, please just remember that things are not always meant to be taken at face value. Sometimes, especially with satire, there is a hidden meaning to writing that is actually trying to make a genuine and important statement, one that reaches beyond mindless offensiveness. Please, if there are any questions about this article, if you just don't get the joke, then please give it a chance before making yourself look stupid here. I think it's a pretty good joke myself, and I'm more than happy to explain it to anyone who needs me to. But, hopefully I won't have to do that. Hopefully, I won't have had to write up this little paragraph. Hopefully, people will just like the article for what it is. But if history serves as any guide, this will most likely not happen. Cheers, and enjoy! Sir SysRq (talk) 20:12, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Very well done. This is probably one of the funniest articles I have seen here.--Yankeefan984 02:09, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Southern People[edit]

While I must admit that this article was amusing and, at times, hilarious, I do have one issue. I am from the South, and while I would be slightly offended by the some of the content that is poking fun of the stereotypes that imply ignorance in Southerners, I couldn't bring myself to be. (I just appreciated the bit about Southern women being attractive too much.) However, I do suggest that before you knock Southerners, or any one or group, for ignorance, illiteracy or anything else, use spell check. With the exception of the intended dialect misspelling, there were several places throughout the article that had grammatical errors. Just saying, it was hard to laugh at "Us" (Southerners) for being ignorant because I was, for the same reason, too busy laughing at you. :) 74.140.169.32 18:08, February 11, 2012 (UTC)
