Talk:War on Spinach

Humour: 6 Some good moments, such as Toaster's explanation for the outbreak, Grubins willing to buy replacement bystanders once the budget is balanced, spinach forced to pose for nude photos, "you don't see bananas poisoning people to death," killing anyone who has even thought about spinach. My main criticism is that your analogy is too obvious - make it more subtle so that the reader gets it but is never hit over the head with the point. And rather than having everyone turn against him, I think it would make your point better if a significant number of people (and maybe some vegetables too) were taken in by Grubins, and strongly supported him.
Concept: 9 A really good idea, makes for potentially great satire. If you could relate it to history a bit more - say, McCarthyism for example, it might better illustrate the kind of paranoia that leads to wars on vegetables and others.
Prose and formatting: 5 Formatting needs some work. Your paragraphs are really long, and this creates a rambling kind of feeling. Maybe a few more links, too. And just to be nit-picky: piece is spelled i before e.
Images: 6 Your one picture is really good. You just need more photos.
Miscellaneous: 7 Maybe add a something that suggests a spinach conspiracy theory. And something about popeye, perhaps?
Final Score: 33
