  1. Symbol for vote.svg Half-self-nom (I'll let you figure out what this means) and for A product of collaboration between Macboswell and myself. Not much else I can say. Anton (talk) 15:17, July 28, 2014 (UTC)
  2. Symbol for vote.svg Just barely. The subject and presentation requires a lot of background knowledge on the part of the reader, and the Intro makes this clear. Spıke Ѧ 14:59 2-Aug-14
  3. For. Has generally okay humor throughout. Besides that, great article. Hpolo2o (talk) 06:49, August 6, 2014 (UTC)
  4. For. There's so much more to this game but this article deals with the gist of it. Captain gull (talk) 04:33, August 11, 2014 (UTC)

  • Symbol comment vote.svg Comment. Needs more work. e.g. "The beautiful Art-deco city of Rapture was single handedly designed and built by Andrew Ryan and his legion of ADAM powered Big Daddies" which is in fact factual and lacking in comedy. Captain gull (talk) 04:04, August 5, 2014 (UTC)
  • Try to imagine Andrew Ryan single-handedly designing and building Rapture with his legion of Big Daddies! (The main function of Big Daddies, as far as I know, is to protect Little Sisters.) Look at any picture of Big Daddy in this article and you'll get what the joke is. Anton (talk) 07:51, August 5, 2014 (UTC)
But... the Big Daddies are the ADAM-mutated workers that originally built Rapture, according to the BioShock story, so this sentence does have a lot of truth to it (although, subtly, they weren't powered by ADAM at the time). What about something like replacing them with Big Motherfuckers instead? Captain gull (talk) 21:46, August 5, 2014 (UTC)
Actually, I didn't know that. Have you played BioShock? (Because I haven't.) Half of the article was written by Macboswell, including that sentence, so I would suggest contacting him, but he hasn't been active lately, so I'm not sure. I'll also take another look at the article myself. Anton (talk) 11:08, August 6, 2014 (UTC)
I've played about 80% of it which is probably enough to know what works and what doesn't in this article. I like how it keeps the plot and background purposely ambiguous which is much how the game itself is. I would like to see mention of EVE, plasmids and Splicers though as those are fairly central to the game. I'm happy to contribute, with your permission. Of course! Feel free to add, edit or remove anything! Anton (talk) 09:01, August 8, 2014 (UTC)

  • BioShock has just been released on AppStore (August, 28)! The topic is now more relevant than ever. Anton (talk) 13:54, September 13, 2014 (UTC)
