  7. For. Apparently, I have something to do with this article's existence, which makes me feel a little bit paternal towards it, and therefore I vote "for", although I am not certain I would do this on fewer than five Tsingtaos, which, frankly, are delicious. Tsingtao is the primary reason I love the Chinese, because they certainly haven't produced as many fuckable women as the Japanese. But when you compare Tsingtao to Kirin Ichiban, well, it's like comparing Marlboro 27s to GPCs. And I'm not even clear how people smoke GPCs. Actually, though, now that I think about it, I haven't seen those in a while. Maybe it's because I got old and graduated to a new socioeconomic class. Even though I'm pretty much exactly as broke as I was when I was 19. Well, revising that statement, maybe it's because I no longer have any friends. Anyway, apparently, I just voted for this article. 8. For. Crazy ducks ftw! Poiz, ABOUT ME I love uncyclopedia games. I also experiment in the sandbox. I almost never make pages, though (exept if they are my subpages). 00:32, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

  10. For. Hackneyed firsrt person article with generic progression blah blah blah. those would be reasons I would give if I was voting against it, because those are the same hackneyed generic reasons used to vote against similiar articles. But I liked it, so GOOD JOB. Sirrah CatshirE Chess the Striker2117 15:47, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Comments:
  • Comment. Can't decide as I like the set up but not the finale which is the 'narrator goes crazy' approach which seems to have become the current 'house style' in here of late. Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:58, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
  • Comment. Once again, your critique is dead on, Romartus. But one thing I learned about story-telling tropes is that every trope has been used. The question I think you need to ask yourself is if the article stands on its own, is funny, and offers a unique brand of the narrator going crazy approach. IMHO, if I were this guy, I would go crazy too, so it's not like the trope is unfit or unjustified, which is all you can expect in this "I've seen everything" kind of world. As always, I'll leave you to make your own opinions. It's Mrthejazz... a case not yet solved. 01:41, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
I am pretty sure all tropes have been used but really then that is a technique which is what I also call a template approach. This is actually a far more superior example of this which is why I am inclined to abstain rather than to vote in favour. Take out the 'trope approach' and perhaps it would breathe more easily. Say if the guy who goes mad in this article has a 'duck secret' or something which would give the story an unexpected conclusion? I don't know what that could be but that would be at least how I would consider it. Anyway, right now I inclined to abstain but your comments have been very useful. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 06:45, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
