Uncyclopedia:Maintenance tags

Uncyclopedia, between rage-quits and drama-fests, constantly strives to improve the overall quality of our articles. Maintenance tags flag an article that isn't so sucky that it can't stay in its current state, but that could really use some attention to bring it up to a level we can be proud of. These are mostly pages that require the attention of the original author. Pages that anyone might stab at can be tagged with {{Rewrite}}.

'Who's in charge of the windows?'

Pages that would normally be NRVed if they were submitted today, but which are now quite old, should be marked with a maintenance tag instead of NRV, so that the author has more time to notice that the article has been tagged.

Articles given a maintenance tag appear in Uncyclopedia:Maintenance. Some categories need review by an Admin monthly; more urgent eyesore categories need weekly review. If the article has gone unedited for that amount of time, the Admin may elect to delete it.

The current maintenance tags are:

  • {{Cleanup}} - for pages that need to have their text improved, reorganized or fixed. Pages marked with this template are also added to Category:Cleanup.
  • {{Ugly}} - for pages that need to have their formatting improved. Pages marked with this template are also added to Category:Ugly.
