Forum:Peace with ED?
Somebody, who shall remain nameless, was on IRC tonight bragging about vandalizing ED. In response, I said that was immature and that maybe we should end the squabbling between our two projects. A few other people agreed with me, and I just want to see if anybody else thinks that way too. Here's my rationale: We are two different projects with different types of humor, so there is no real need to go and fight with each other, and it doesn't help either one of us if we are vandalizing each others articles.

It's not 'peace' or anything, as the 'war' is really over. I mean, do they really bitch about Uncyc all the time? If they don't, and were carrying it out, it's just kind of petty. If they are, why are we imitating them? It's just sort of a waste. We don't 'need' a rival site or anything. We're constructive (Right? Tell me I'm right.) - Why are you even talking about them? They arent notable, Wikipedia even deleted their article due to this fact. As to the idea that there is a "war" between the sites, take heed of the wise words spoken in Tom Cruise's documentary on Scientology, "This is not a war any more than there's a war between men and maggots... This is an extermination." There is no competition. To even insinuate it is to give our community far too little credit for making this site as great as it is. ~Sir Rangeley
