Usage

Description

Utility template used to trim leading colons (:). For past versions of {{VFDc}}, categories had to be specified as {{VFDc|:Category:Test}}, but for past versions of {{VFDn}}, categories had to be specified as {{VFDn|Category:Test}}. Adding a colon where one was already supplied would look unsightly, and not adding a colon where one was expected would place the VFD page in that category. This template normalizes the markup for compatibility and simplicity.
