Why "pokkiiman" in the katakana?

Hmmm... Pokemon comes from "POKEtto MONsutaa" which is "Pocket Monsters" So it's PO-KE-MO-N (ポケモン)

Well, techincally in Nihon-land, it's just "Pocket Monsters", they are never called Pokémon. ~~FlareNUKE (Page Talk Contrib ) 22:52, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
