Thomas Malthus (13/14 February 1766 – 23 December 1834) was an English economist who singlehandedly put the demon into demography. Uncyclopedia has a couple of mentions of this revolutionary mind:

• One about his plan to eliminate poverty in the first world by shipping all The Poor to the third.
• And another about his iron law that, since population was increasing geometrically while food production was increasing arithmetically, there would come a day when population would outstrip food and no one would get any.
