i don't completely disagree with this article, but i also don't think the james, lars, or kirk of 1986 would buy death magnetic either(especially james). for all we know, if cliff had lived, maybe he would have left metallica and produced the boy bands of the 90's or started a hip hop group. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.242.29.119 (talk • contribs)

- PS. If you are actually interested in hearing what it would sound like if Cliff were in a hip hop group, the closest you're going to get is the Japanese band YKZ. The bassist is a bit more slappy and funky than Cliff was, but he is a total Cliff fanboy and sometimes it's quite obvious, like, for example, in that one Early Metallica tribute song they have on their 2003 album.
