Hey there. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm wiki-retarded, so bear with me. I was just wondering if I could rewrite the James May article, because reading it seems more like a personal attack on homosexuals rather than an article. I might not be able to make it top-class Uncyclopedic brilliance, but I could have a go at writing something funnier than what there is now. Maybe someone could collab with me on it? Anyway, please tell me if that's okay. Thanks, SadisticWolf 14:29, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

It isn't the place. The place would have been on it's talk page. But go ahead and rewrite it. If it sucks worse, I'll just revert it. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 14:31, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

I DID [...] WRITE THAT. --SadisticWolf 20:06, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Generally speaking, as long as the article hasn't been given an award, isn't pending one or being actively edited by its author, you can feel free to do a rewrite - if you are afraid there will be contention or if contention results, you should create the rewrite in your userspace and then, once completed, make a post on the Village Dump for people to weigh in on whether your rewrite should replace, merge with or be rejected in favour of the existing article. Additionally, you should not replace the article until your rewrite is comparatively better than the existing - if you plan to work on it in stages, again, do so in your userspace-- Prof. Olipro Icons-flag-gb.png KUN (W)Anchor Op Bur.
