So... Has your life changed in any way since you started writing on Uncyc (or since you STOPPED writing on it)? Do you feel different, do you relate to people differently, what's different? The sex? The drug trips? The humor level? I study psychology, so I'm really interested in this kind of thing. Call me weird, but this is really interesting to me.

For myself, I really do feel more, uh, "clever" since I started writing here. Also, I've got a much larger... reservoir of jokes to get people to pay attention to me. Well, mostly it's OK, but there is this one guy who just haunts my dreams now. I struggle to sleep most nights, and when I do, I wake up in a cold sweat with my pants soaked and a tear in my eye. Yeah, I don't feel cleverer at all. Dr. Skullthumper's blog had a quote from some dead guy, I believe... "I’m not a wit. A wit says something funny on the spot. I have a tissue... there you go... um... Well, Uncyc has made life a lot funner, for one. Compared to my early edits "god hates you" I would say that Uncyc "community" itself has made me less cynical (for lack of a better word) just because there are tons of different people here, interacting and whatnot... as for my writing skills, I had none to begin with, so... yeah. -- REGRETTENENBAUMIS DEAD TALK! 20:48, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

My ego's certainly bigger. I've always been aware of being somewhat funny, but now I have more of an idea of how I go about this. I also now wince when comedians talk about ninjas. One big side-effect of Uncyclopedia is that it's improved my general knowledge. Yes, it has been a life changing experience. In a life full of negative influences, Uncyclopedia is just another negative.

On the other hand, it's a positive for me because in spite of the negative comments and general mysogeny so prevalent here, I really enjoy blowing off steam on those who I find oppressive and misogynistic. Everyday life experiences frequently can be applied to Uncyclopedia which makes me laugh at the thought of what kind of comments could be made here. Immature, yes. Negative, sometimes (half of comedy is misery, after all. I've done the math). Misogynist, hopefully not. Remember that when you read someone else's comments, your reading your own emotional interpretation into them. You're seeing misogyny because you're a misterogynist. There, I said it. I've been thinking about this a lot over the last few days (like way to fu*cking much, about why uncyclopedia makes me feel that female contributors aren't exactly welcome here and from out of the blue a fully completed phrase entered my mind (the way it does when I'm writing something on uncyclopedia). It's your mom. As a mom of innocent young children I see red every time I see that blue link. Fuck the people who write that bullshit and the thousands who link to it. They don't know what it's like to be a mother and a woman. That article alone makes uncyclopedia 75% misogynistic. I know, I did the math ;). I could easily argue that you "don't know what it's like to be a satirist and a humorist." But I won't. Because everybody knows what that's like. Yeah. Comedy is about hitting any target available. I can tell you're obviously looking for offense to mothers and women, because you are one. But if you took the time to read our site, you'd realize we have satire of damn near everything there is to be satirized. Does that make us bigots? No. It makes us normal people, able to find humor in just about anything. As far as I'm concerned, finding humor in everything is one of the best ways to lead a happy life.
