Why can't i edit all of the article? Anyways I propose to rename him Robert "African-Hitler" Mugabe or Afro Hitler

This article actually just made me laugh out loud! Thank you!

Galloway quote[edit]

If you were to ask George Galloway or someone pro Mugabe for his thoughts on "Robert Mugabe's war on sanity," you would get a response somewhere along the lines of "He seems perfectly sane to me". The war on sanity part doesn't work in the context of George Galloway's opinion or the positive-spin that the article puts on Mugabe's presidency. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  19:09, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

But the problem is "I salute you, sir" isn't funny. Galloway salutes him? He salutes dictators generally? It doesn't work. But "Robert Mugabe's War on Sanity" does. First, the idea that Mugabe's entire government is engaged in a war on sanity is both amusing and sadly close to the truth. Secondly, the notion of the buffoonish Galloway goading him on is also amusing. No, of course Galloway would say "He seems perfectly sane to me" in real life but this is a parody site, remember? ;) --Zarbag 20:44, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Comedy still needs to make sense. Even silly nonsensical humour needs to maintain its own internal logic to be funny. The Mighty Boosh, for example, deal in nonsense, but it always makes perfect sense to them in their own world. More importantly, the article needs to maintain its consistency. It is pro-Mugabe. Saying "He's a lunatic" doesn't fit.
George Galloway was a friend of Saddam Hussein and has publicly backed Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. I thought the idea of Galloway taking this pattern of behaviour to its extreme was funny and so I kept the quote when I did the IC rewrite. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  21:38, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
