Okay, following a bit of admin abuse from everyone's favorite bot where a template still transcluded into pages was deleted while the vote was only 1:4, I think it's time we sit down and talk about all the Uncyclopedia:Babel business going on here. There seem to be a lot of pages in foreign languages here that have been unmaintained in 2006. If I had to guess (and I dunno man, ask carlb or someone) I'd say that these articles were put here while hosting was still being arranged for Uncyclopedias in their own proper language. So, like, why are they still here? The foreign-language Uncyclopedias with articles here are already well-established (at least for the languages that matter) and they don't need to park their articles here anymore. What's the deal? Is there any reason we're keeping them around? If so, what? If not, can we huff them before they clog up VFD like flies to a bug zapper?

1. No one's maintaining the articles here,
2. and its not like any of us can accurately judge their quality,
3. and if they were wanted by anyone (like this fine piece of prose, for example),
4. I'm sure they would have been imported to the right wiki by now.

Did I vote? If I didn't, then you can make that 1:6. And I say just bring each page to VFD or just wait till we have another FFW and then we can kill them then. Just so we're clear

Someone "suggested" I "announce" this: I am going to nominate practically everything in the Babel namespace for deletion. The foreign language pages here are unused, unmaintained and unnecessary as they have their own wikis. I will leave behind good content in English such as the Babel:APPL reskin. I will not rest. I will not sleep. I will burn your children. I will murder your sheep. And don't even get me started on what I will do to the Jews. So this Jewish sheep was just shorn (that's a word, I don't care what Firefox spellcheck says), and his mother sheep, not wanting him to be out on the rain without a coat of wool and maybe catch a cold, bought him two coats to wear. I'm moderately confident that every page that links to these pages also deserves deletion. Also, is there any objection to me nominating languages at a time?
