Hey everybody. Lyrithya and I have finished our mass deletion of the unused images. If anybody would like to request that we restore one or more of the deleted images, this is the place for requesting that. -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 07:34, March 16, 2011 (UTC)

To add to that - I'm figuring there'll probably be three categories of images, here:

1. Images linked in other ways that still show up as unused files
   • These include full-path links such as are often used in signatures, as well links to the filepages and anything only used in <choose> tags
   • If listing these, please also provide a link to the page on which is it 'used' in whatever fashion it is used so we can add a {{notorphan}}; otherwise it'll probably just get deleted again.
2. Images that weren't used but that you were intending to use or would like to keep
   • Note - if you don't use these on a page after they are undeleted, chances are they'll just get deleted again.
3. Accidents, probably due to bad timing or flat-out list error
   • Er... sorry about that.

Uberfluffman or whatever the guy's name was may have forgotten to sacrefice the proper specimens to the database before making his request of it.

Why were these sound files deleted?

I thought we were only deleting image files. Also, these two likely belong with the Untunes article of the same name

All files wind up in Special:UnusedFiles, annoyingly.

Although if they belong with it, why does it not link to them anywhere? Weird...

1234 ~ 05:55, 17 March 2011 I just linked the one that fits with the article, the other one does not link because it is corrupted or something (won't play with Quicktime for instance). It appears to be an image designed for use with audio files. File:We will mock you.mp3 doesn't play as an mp3 for whatever reason. Feel free to huff the corrupted mp3. So, File:Entrails (Christian).mp3 and File:Chicharron macorron.mp3 were killed in the mass deletion. Could you probably bring them back for their respective articles? — JCM 21:39, March 24, 2011 (UTC)
