Has anyone else noticed that about half of the topics on this forum are about how bad Uncyclopedia is? Seriously. Look what Testify turned in to. How about NONE OF YOU HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR? That one about the Star Wars article? Why has the forum turned into a pit of self-criticism? -MafiaHatBrown.gif Velosi-T Icons-flag-us.png {] Screech * Vomit * Mutilations [} 19:55, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Because, deep down, all comedians are sad, sad people. The suicide rate among comedians is high. The alcoholism rate is sky-high. The sex rate is low. Modest Mouse once made an incoherent observation on this phenomenon. Article space often provides an inadequate receptacle for our gallons and gallons of self-loathing. It's like trying to pour the Bering Sea into a thimble - which I could do, mind you, were it not that I have bad dreams. Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 20:12, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
I haven't noticed a pattern in THIS forum yet, because only 2 3 people have posted so far... DUMBASSES! And that second one used high-falutent words that I couldn't be bothered to read.   Le Cejak <21:41, 20 Aug 2008>
Also, all the individuals who have commented so far have, at some time or other, being banned. Hmmmmmm.... -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
Until me. Go me. But you'll notice that it's the really, really terrible comedians that are the saddest. If you've ever told a joke that you thought was hilarious and no one laughed, yeah, it would suck. I say 'it would', because it's never happened to me. That's why I'm happy. But, yeah, I don't think that a really good writer has ever gone off on one of those tangents. If that happened, then we'd be in trouble. --Mr. Monkey Sockmonkey.gif Pant-hoot here. 21:45, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

John Nash spotted a pattern in this forum... -- shiny Ape (subpoena) (Riot Porn) 22:40, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, its bad when you tell a joke and it dies. I remember standing up in Sunday School and saying "How can you tell when your sister is on her period?......Your dad's dick tastes funny!" Not a single laugh. Still use it though. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
I laughed. -- shiny Ape (subpoena) (Riot Porn) 23:01, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Poor self image and comedy go together like one thing and another thing, where the two things go together really well. I'm sorry. I'm out of analogies. On a lighter note, Uncyclopedia is the worst. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 23:15, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Huh, that's a tough analogy. How about: Poor self image and comedy go together like "ethnic" and "cleansing." Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 23:21, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
I tried some ethnic cleansing once. It made me smell like an Albanian. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 23:25, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

What's up with taking the piss out of yourself? I can think of loads of comedians who do that. -- Hindleyite Converse 12:18, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Who? I thought all comedians were just failed thespians— Sir Sycamore (talk) 14:01, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
These fools. Also I know that in bygone times comedians from ethnic minorities used to make jokes about themselves to try and fit in. -- Hindleyite Converse 14:10, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
"Shut it Brother, ya cheese eatin' surrender monkey!":)— Sir Sycamore (talk) 14:13, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
I don't want to know what got up your kilt hnnnnnnnnnnnng I'll try not to be here all week. --Sir DJ ~ Irreverent OZ! Noobaward.jpg Wotm.jpg Unbooks mousepad.PNG GUN.png 14:22, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
I tried self-deprecating humour; I wasn't very good at it. -- shiny Ape (subpoena) (Riot Porn) 20:55, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Wow, you must suck. Personally, I'm the KING of self-depreciating humor. All you others are just imitators. I do have a problem with a lack of modesty, however.--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 12:48, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
