Kim Jong-il appears keen to show South Korea his nuclear capability

Pyongyang, North Korea. North Korea's Dear Leader Kim Jong-Il today unexpectedly agreed to the demands of the international community and offered to deliver full details of North Korea's nuclear weapons capability. "I am very happy to provide full and frank information about the nuclear weapons capability the Juche philosophy has bestowed on our great Democratic Peoples' Republic" said the pint-sized Monarcho-Communist. "And, indeed, to show our commitment to the unification of Korea I plan to send these details to the authorities in South Korea".

Despite many seeing this as a climbdown, Kim Jong-Il remains upbeat. "Regardless of what the imperialist media might claim, we're actually very keen to do this and have been for a long time. We're preparing the details now and you can expect them to reach Seoul very soon. When they arrive, we expect them to make quite an impact and I'm sure that gangster Lee Myung-bak will get a real blast out of what we are capable of; indeed I'm sure the whole world will sit up and take notice. Seoul won't be quite the same after the details of our capability are comprehensively delivered, I can assure you."

The move by Pyongyang was welcomed by President Lee Myung-bak of South Korea as well as by the United Nations. US President George W Bush also welcomed the move saying in a statement today "I fully support this move by North Korea. When the full details of North Korea's nuclear capabilities are delivered to our friends in the South I want the whole world to remember who made this possible."
