Hey - it's Meganew. I just tried to login using my old password, and apparently it didn't accept. Also says the email that was associated with my account isn't associated at all. I haven't changed my password - so I'm kinda confused as to what the issue is.

Hi, Romartus, Spike or Pup will be more switched on with this than I, but we had a database merger in the Autumn and users that were not present at the time had their usernames reset with the prefix "Un-" at the beginning, so you would be Un-Meganew. The record of your contributions seems to be gone. (You should be grateful.) But you are still in the block log. It isn't pretty, but it suggests that Wikia did not move your user name. However, the post of Romartus to your talk page suggests that your name was on the list we got of users who had matching names elsewhere on Wikia and were going to get moved. I would use Special:Contact to ask them, if I thought you were here to write funny stuff. Spıke 🎙️13:47 29-Dec-15

I attempted to - the individual at Wikia claimed that there was no email associated with the 'Meganew' account, and as such, he couldn't do anything. As is, I just tried to login as "Un-Meganew" - said it didn't recognize the username. What else can I do? --71.170.212.30 01:41, January 18, 2016 (UTC)

Wikia loses one! Without an email address, no one knows that you are Meganew. (Even with one, I don't know it.) I think all you can do is pick a new one, state on your new user page that you are a continuation of Meganew, do not futz with the Meganew pages because no one will believe you, and start over, thanking the Corporation that you are relieved of the burden of Meganew's past. So no one will believe that I was the guy responsible for the bullshit version of the iCarly page, the Seizure page, and those continuation episodes of TYATU that eventually saw the series get deleted by Froggy?
