Forum:I wish to complain about the recent issues with the BENSON forum.
First the admins kept moving crap topics into BENSON's sacred lands. No matter how much I and the other followers complained, the admins would not cease. I even suggested a compromise: Two seperate forums, one for BENSON, one for crap. And when I tried politely asking Famine to stop moving topics, I got nailed with the banstick. And now... all I can honestly say is what the fuck just happened. No admins seem to read our topics of complaint in BENSON's forum, so I'm putting this rant in the VD so the amdins who so cruelly wreck our lands can read it, along with the proles, blissfully unaware of the atrocities committed by their admins. - Umm... I'm not sure if you've realized this yet, but uhh... Benson is lucky to even have forum at all, Benson is lucky he isn't indefinitely banned from the site. When you start making stupid demands like "keep the crap out of the Benson forum" you deserved to get banned.

- Aww, you actually sound genuinely upset. I'm not quite sure I understand why though, and it does seem at the moment that Benson's "followers" are far more upset (or at least, more vocal about being upset) about all this crap than Benson himself. But yeah, I don't get why some admin hasn't just perma-banned him and put a stop to all this, cos it's just a bit boring now. - I thought Tompkins actually was a member of the League of BENSON himself. It says he is. And frankly BENSON has done some good here. Seriously, he has! He wrote a decent article and makes good pics. And he doesn't vandalize. To mention permabanning BENSON would be a great loss to Uncyclopedia. Doesn't it say right at the top of BENSON's forum that crap should go there? Also, what would the League of BENSON talk about if there was no crap for BENSON to be better than? --The Acceptable

- How do you figure that the administrators of the site should not determine what content is appropriate for the site and where it should go? The Benson forum is not a protected zone, nor is it even a right - it is a privilege, and it is tolerated. We are under no obligation to even provide Benson and his acolytes with a sounding board, remember that. I do see the funny side of the whole Benson thing, sure, but if you're going to attempt to turn this into another pointless Euroipods style crusade, I'm not going to debate it with you. I'm too busy, I spend too much time maintaining this site as it is, and if you make extra work for me I'll just take the simplest course of action. - Who's BENSON? That guy that invented those lab burner things? I put a frog in one of those Benson burners one time. - Maybe if people didn't create cruft forum topics to begin with, this wouldn't be an issue. If it bothers you so much, Nin, nom the cruft forum articls for VFD. If it weren't for the fact that all the forum pages and templates and stuff are protected, I could easily make a seperate forum for them myself. The wikiML isn't too complex. Hell, I already have made a seperate forum, hidden in my userpage, but it can't be linked to form other forums since they're protected. It's not much effort to code, so why not make another forum? Famine and such would be happy as the crap still wouldn't in the VD, and we BENSON followers would be happy as the crap wouldn't in the BENSON forum. - How about a compromise with a link to your BENSON-exclusive forum from the top of [what is now called] BHOP? Things are fine the way they are
"Benson's House of Pancakes" sounds really good, and Todd even made a nice, pro-BENSON image that BENSON Hhimself liked. I also appreciate Nin's efforts to create a new, all-BENSON, all the time forum in his userspace (and he's amazing with his ALL CAPS tricks). I think with these things, things will work out fine so long as we can continue to worship BENSON in both the BHOP forum AND Nin's forum. Although I would like to see Category:BENSON returned. And I even made an image for us to remember the good old days. Frankly, "what's in a name?" I say. It may be under a new name, but we can still praise Him in His glory the way we always have done. - I think it may have been Famine who said it, or Codeine, or some other admin. They are all the same =P But the BENSON forum is a privledge and I don't think we should abuse it. The crap topics that do flood into the BENSON forum have never really bothered me. They just get pushed down to the bottom anyways. Plus powershot moving into the BENSON forum created an interesting war complete with death threats from all.
