  2. For - I'm the one who gave it the colorful review. I like this article in an unhealthy way. Someone, help me. --Mejwell 01:12, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
  3. For I'm a total Uncyclopedia noob, but I wrote several parts of the Wikipedia article on the DuMont Television Network, and Uncyclopedia's version is beautifully written and, in my opinion, hilarious. Lines like "The DuMont Network had numerous affiliates all over the country, although the precise number will never be known because many of them are too embarrassed to admit it" and "All of the DuMont programs were left in cardboard boxes marked "FREE" on the sidewalk outside the flagship station following the network's demise" are funny because they bear more than a smidgen of truth to them. Trite's recent additions, including the retro 50s style logo, complete the article. The review was spot-on, and the article is an awesomely inaccurate account of the rise and fall of the world's first television network. I'd love to see this on Uncyclopedia's front page. 5. YES! Seldom do I get as excited about things as I do this! Ah, the early days of television...the dancing cigarette packs, the celebrities testimonials and the kinetiscopes and rabbit ears...Mr. Ed, sponsored by the Studebaker-Packard Corporation...do I feel old... An article written entirely by me (minus the addition of the Mass Media template by Alksub), it just passed Pee Review with flying colors. Personally, I'm very pleased with the way this turned out, and I'd like to give today's youth a totally inaccurate rendition of the rise and fall of a real company. -Tritefantastic 19:50, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Abs. Not having encountered anything to do with DuMont, there was a loud whooshing sound as this passed over my head. Judging from some of the comments thus far, familiarity with the subject makes this funny, so I never had a chance! --Sir Under User (Hi, How Are You?) VFH KUN 08:45, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
