Forum:The Great Administrator Mixup: Vote for your temporary admins here
Voting has ended. Your new temporary objects of hate are: Sockpuppet of an unregistered user, Hyperbole, PuppyOnTheRadio and Lyrithya. To the new admins: please use this page to guide your admin decisions. Don't do anything Marcos Malo wouldn't do.
Their term of service will extend to approximately April 1, then we can all fight about the results.
Rcmurphy, Codeine, Thekillerfroggy and Under user are now barred from using their admin powers and are free to commence trolling of the new admins. —rc (t) 18:04, March 4, 2011 (UTC)
Per this thread, we will be electing temporary admins for the month of March. These temps will "take over" admin duties from current administrators, who will spend the next month acting as regular users and not utilizing their admin powers. At the end of March, we will evaluate the exercise as a community and decide if this type of thing is something we'd like to pursue further.
Nominations and voting will be open for a week. On March 4, voting will be closed and winners declared. Three Four current admins have volunteered to repress their naturally bloodthirsty instincts for the next month: Rcmurphy, Codeine and Thekillerfroggy (and now UU, because he won't be here anyway). Thus we will be electing threefour temporary admins to take their place. Here are the rules:
- Every user, admin and regular, gets
threefour votes. All votes are equal. - You cannot cast more than one vote on a particular nominee.
- No self-nominations, but you can vote for yourself.
- No "against" votes.
- You are free to change your votes at any time. Unless it's already after March 4.
This is not a popularity contest! Vote for people you think would make good admins (whatever you think that might entail). Please put discussion on the... wait, there's no talk page. Hm. Okay, don't discuss anything.

For -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 04:47, February 25, 2011 (UTC)- Thanks Hyperbole and Zombiebaron, this is nice of you and makes me feel like a real live boy. But no thanks. If elected I will not serve. If forced to serve I will permaban Hyperbole (if he isn't selected), and when he is ressurected I will ban him again until I am deopped from the faux op. That's what I'd do, and I would enjoy the experience. Aleister 00:15 26-2-'11

- Idon't care if you refuses to serve, you'll serve, and you'll like it! -- 05:36, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. As I explained on Zombiebaron's page, my inability to handle some coding functions, as well as my tendency for seeing discordian-type occurances, would lead me to not ban the 92 vandal and other interesting characters, but to actually befriend them and give them our secret admin codes just to see what they would do. I would actually do too many things that would shake the boat too much, and drown me along with the other crewmembers. The wisest thing is to lock me into the user pen and keep me out of the admin's banquet hall. Aleister 13:34 2-3-'11

Stewardship of the UnNews Front Page (for which I don't need Admin power) has replaced authorship with list maintenance, tidying up articles, giving advice, and rewrites, and this vote would continue the trend. My opinions (in favor of written rules and against silliness) are still outside the Uncyclopedia mainstream. Against this whole idea, I've said before I'm not someone that holds grudges against people but its telling that the people who are doing reasonably well in the voting in this are the ones who have shown repeatedly in the past that they have difficulties dealing with other users who they disagree with. Despite the fact that we haven't voted to accept this whole idea I'd like to make the point that should anyone utilise admin rights to perpetuate petty grudges against other users I will spank very, very hard. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)

"Uncyclopedia has a rigid hierarchy and is perhaps even more legalistic and collectivistic than Wikipedia. Admininistrators are afforded the same reverence as gods and goddesses.
